Board of Directors

The business and affairs of the Permian Basin Healthcare Network (PBHN) are managed under the direction of a nine (9) member physician board of directors. Directors are elected annually by, and from PBHN’s Class A voting physician membership. The terms of office of one-third of the Directors expire each year, and directors who are elected to fill such positions are elected for terms of three (3) years. The Board of Directors has three officers: President, Vice President and Secretary, each of which is elected annually by the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors typically meets on a monthly basis; of which one meeting each year is a Strategic Planning Meeting; and another is held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Membership at which the election of Directors is conducted. Special meetings of the Board are ‘called’ as required.  PBHN maintains Directors and Officers and Errors and Omissions liability insurance to indemnify the Board and its officers against any such liability.
